Dr. D.'s journey is a testament to unwavering dedication and groundbreaking achievement, embodying the "five-fold ministry" of a Gospel DJ: Release, Replay, Remix, Reproduce, and Rejuvenate. His early entrepreneurial spirit led to the co-founding of the Original Mobile Gospel DJs in 1979, the creation of official NYC Gospel Skate Nights, and the launch of the first Triboro Gospel Skating Revival tour. Beyond mobile events, he revolutionized radio with the first Contemporary Gospel Music show on WHCR 90.3 FM, "Late Nite Journey 2," and established the groundbreaking Gospel Lighthouse Christian Nite Club—the first Christian social venue inside a "real" nightclub, providing a platform for diverse gospel genres and even featuring on BBC documentaries.
